Baked Rice Recipe


  • Brown Rice (3 cups)
  • Cashews (1 cup)
  • Garlic Powder (1 tablespoon)
  • Broccoli (1 cup)
  • Cauliflower (1 cup)
  • Water (1 cup)
  • Onion (½ piece)
  • Red Capsicum (½ cup)
  • TVP (½ cup)
  • Salt (2 teaspoon)
  • Nutritional Yeast (1½ tablespoon)
  • Olive Oil (1 tablespoon)


  1. Place cashews, water, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, salt into a blender and blend thoroughly.
  2. Boil some water and add in the broccoli and cauliflower.
  3. Scoop up the cooked vegetables into a bowl.
  4. Stir-fry onion, red capsicum and TVP for a few minutes.
  5. Add in salt and nutritional yeast.
  6. Place rice, olive oil and cooked ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well.
  7. Add in 1 cup of the blended mixture and mix well.
  8. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and pour in the rest of the blended mixture.
  9. Cover with aluminium foil and bake at 170°C for 20 minutes.
