Ingredients
(Crust)
- Walnuts (1 cup)
- Atta Flour (1 cup)
- Salt (½ teaspoon)
- Water (½ cup)
(Filling)
- Cashews (1 cup)
- Water (3 cups)
- Honey (½ cup)
- Vanilla Extract (1 teaspoon)
- Corn Starch (6 tablespoons)
- Carob Powder (4 tablespoons)
- Salt (½ teaspoon)
Method
- Process walnuts, atta flour and salt until smooth.
- Pour processed mixture into a bowl. Add water, mix well.
- Flatten dough evenly and place in a baking dish. Cut off excess dough.
- Bake at 170°C for 25 minutes.
- Blend cashews, salt, corn starch, carob powder, vanilla extract, honey and water until smooth.
- Cook over medium-high heat until thickened.
- Pour filling into prepared pie crust.
- Cover with plastic film and chill until hardened.
